Vegan Thai Soup (Tom yum-inspired recipe)

I was craving for Tom yum, but my sister is highly allergic to shrimp. Here’s a recipe that I came up with that satsfied my craving and is delicious and healthy too.

Three Cup Chicken – San Bei Ji (三杯鸡)

One of my favorite recipes when I lived in Taiwan. I am sharing with you not only the recipe, but the journey that I went through in search for the best recipe that recreated memories from that hill side restaurant outside of Kaohsiung city.

Chả Giò- Fried Vietnamese Spring Rolls (Vegan Substitute available)

A lot of people are familiar with vietnamese fresh spring rolls—soft rice paper wrapper, some shrimp or meat, lettuce, vermicelli noodles, and carrots. But when you use the same rice paper to make spring rolls—the results are bomb! It’s like having a crispy cracker wrapped around some juicy meat filling. So good!

Maruya – Banana Fritters

Maruya, otherwise known as Banana Fritters is a common snack in the Philippines. They’re great–sweet, delicious and filling! If you want them as a dessert, you can have a small serving too. Click for the recipe.

Grilled Chicken with Chimichurri

Didn’t expect to make this dish, but my goodness—I didn’t regret it! It’s a grilled chicken dish of Latin American origin. Something different to add to your daily menu. It’s super delicious!
